About  Our College

      College has been established and managed by the Roman Catholic Bishop of Nagercoil( Kottar Diocese). Approved By Govt. of Tamilnadu Recognized by AICTE, New Delhi Affiliated to Anna University. St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering has been established and managed by the Roman Catholic Church known for its time-honorable tradition of imparting quality education to the society and rendering social service without discrimination. The college is situated in a beautiful hillock at Chunkankadai in Kanyakumari District (Tamilnadu), overlooking the Nagercoil- Thiruvananthapuram Highway (NH 47). The idyllic surroundings with a vast expanse of lush green paddy fields and banana plantation, caressed by gentle breeze from the hills and the calm atmosphere of the college are conductive for academic pursuits. In pursuit of excellence, a Quality Management System has been developed in line with ISO 9001:2000 Standards and implemented at our college. As a result of this, in June 2002, our college was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certificate by STQC Certification Services.
